Augsburg – Die Augsburger Dommusik setzt ihren erfolgreichen Ausbau der Nachwuchsarbeit fort und lädt noch vor den Faschingsferien zu Castings ein. Die neu gegründete Mädchenkantorei der Dommusik ist im September 2025 mit großem Zuspruch gestartet: Bereits 60 Mädchen bis zum Alter von acht Jahren konnten aufgenommen werden. Damit ist die Musikalische Früherziehung derzeit vollständig ausgebucht und Wartelisten werden geführt, in den Nachwuchschören stehen nur noch wenige Restplätze zur Verfügung.
Nun beginnt der Aufbauchor der Mädchenkantorei. Hierfür findet ein Vorsingen für Mädchen im Alter von sechs bis 13 Jahren statt. Auch Jungen können sich zu den Casting-Terminen anmelden; in diesem Fall richtet sich das Angebot an Jungen zwischen sechs und zehn Jahren, die Interesse an einer Aufnahme bei den Augsburger Domsingknaben haben.

„Wenn Du Freude am Singen in der Chorgemeinschaft hast und entweder Teil der neu gegründeten, ambitionierten Mädchenkantorei oder der berühmten Augsburger Domsingknaben werden möchtest, dann melde Dich zum Vorsingen an“, heißt es seitens der Dommusik. Die Augsburger Dommusik bietet jungen Sängerinnen und Sängern eine fundierte musikalische Ausbildung, regelmäßige Proben, Konzerte auf hohem künstlerischem Niveau sowie eine starke Gemeinschaft.
